YAF Africa’s Participation in ACS2, AYCA 2025, and CCDA XIII: Elevating Youth Voices on Adaptation Finance

From September 5 to 10, 2025, YAF Africa youth ambassadors actively participated in the 13th Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa, the Second Africa Youth Climate Assembly, and the Second Africa Climate Summit. Across these platforms, our delegation engaged in high level panels, youth led sessions, and strategic dialogues to amplify the call for scaling up adaptation finance in Africa.
Our ambassadors presented innovative community driven initiatives from Benin, Chad, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, and Malawi, showcasing how youth led projects are transforming agriculture, renewable energy, and local resilience. They contributed to shaping the Addis Ababa Declaration of AYCA 2025 and officially presented the Youth Declaration on Adaptation Finance Road to ACS2 at African Development Bank pavilion. This ensured that African youth priorities are integrated into continental and global negotiations.
